We’re testing a new capability for our SMU controller: native support for LAWO LED displays. Once validated, operators will be able to control LAWO-manufactured displays directly through SMU, alongside hardware already supported today.
This matters because fleets often mix display hardware from different manufacturers, each with its own control software and protocols. Unifying LAWO displays under SMU means:
- One controller instead of separate tools per brand
- Consistent information across the whole fleet
- Simpler maintenance and updates
- Faster onboarding of new hardware
